These are supposed to be images of Apple's new AirPods 3
This year Apple is expected to renew the AirPods line. After last year having reinforced with AirPods Max, this year AirPods 3 should be presented. The rumors have already shown some improvements in the design and the supposed images that have now appeared on the internet seem to confirm them.
Headphones in-ear from Apple, in its version 3, appear to have a redesign in the earpiece and a smaller carrying and charging pouch.
AirPods are expected to be updated this year. It will be, supposedly, with an AirPods Pro design. The images that are supposed to be real, state that the new AirPods will have silicone tips and a charging case. Therefore, nothing that is not already known.
Basically, the biggest change here is that it means that the AirPods 3 would feature an in-ear design, instead of resting on the ear like today's AirPods do.
Thus, these shared images will be able to tell us that this line will also change, being able, in some way, to push the Pro line of these headphones.
Change in the headphone structure
As mentioned above, the images show the AirPods 3 with a design clearly inspired by the AirPods Pro. They feature a shorter stem with an in-ear design using silicone tips.
The loading box has also been redesigned to be slightly smaller and narrower. The report adds that these AirPods 3 would feature the same AirPods Pro Force Sensor controls.
In terms of features, the "rumor" also reports that the AirPods 3 will feature Apple's specialized ventilation system for pressure equalization. Basically, it will be a system that aims to minimize discomfort when using AirPods for a long period of time.
In terms of technologies, AirPods 3 will have support for space audio, however, they are not expected to have theother AirPods Pro features, such as Active Noise Canceling and Transparency Mode.
Pricing and availability
An important point is the price. Rumors point to $ 150. It remains to be seen whether Apple will maintain a cheaper offer. The product is expected to hit the market next March.
