Somebody Told Me - The Killers

The Killers is an American rock band, formed in 2002 in Las Vegas. It is composed by Brandon Flowers (vocals and synthesizer), Dave Keuning (guitar and supporting voice), Ronnie Vannucci (drums) and Mark Stoermer (bass and supporting voice).

His first album, Hot Fuss, was released on June 15, 2004, obtaining great reviews and great recognition among the public, largely due to the hits “Somebody Told Me”, “Mr. Brightside ”and the dance sound of the 80's, originated from the synthetic sounds of the songs.

The group's second album, Sam's Town, was released on October 3, 2006, and marked a considerable change in the band's style, both in relation to music, which had influences more associated with rock, such as Bruce Springsteen, as to the style of dressing, which became more “aggressive”, more compatible with the extremely American sound that characterizes Sam's Town. In 2008, they released the album Day & Age, which was a critical and public success. In 2012, after a rest period, The Killers released their fourth studio album entitled Battle Born.

In 2017, they released their fifth album, Wonderful Wonderful. The band released on November 15, 2019 their new album, Imploding the Mirage, whose release was initially scheduled for the first half of 2020, but which was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, being released only in August 2020.

By the end of 2013, The Killers had already sold more than 22 million records worldwide.
