According to the information, Nvidia only started sending the new GPUs for press tests yesterday (21). So, with the launch on February 25th, users then have only four days to test the performance of the GeForce RTX 3060.
Thus, in the Ashes of the Singularity game database, the first benchmark results have now emerged. The GeForce RTX 3060 graphics was tested twice, and in the first test it scored 6600 points and 67.8 in the average fps rate. In the second test, the GPU had a score of 6800 and an average rate of 69.8 fps.
For comparison, the VideoCardz website has compiled a list of all graphics cards tested by the same user. All tests have a default of 1080p and were run on an Intel Core i7-8700K CPU.
According to the results, the GeForce RTX 3060 has an average score of 6700, and is then 19% faster than its predecessor RTX 2060. In addition, Nvidia's new graphics is also 9% faster than the RTX 2070.
The RTX 3060 will be launched on the 25th of this month, being the first model based on GA106 with a 12 GB GDDR6 memory and 3584 CUDA cores. The suggested retail price is $ 329 (~ 271 euros), however stores have started to increase this figure significantly.
The new graphics card will also have a hash limit, in order to be purchased for games and professional purposes, and not for cryptocurrency mining.
