Breaking news: The scores of the 22 most valuable FIFA 22 players have been revealed.
But there is more news… Come and see them!
"The experts spoke, now the debate begins. Today, EA SPORTS reveals the highest ranked players in FIFA 22, powered by the Ratings Collective" this is how the motto is set for the revealing of the notes of the 22 most valuable in FIFA 22 (at the start of the game).
Unsurprisingly, we can find in the Top 22, a Portuguese: Cristiano Ronaldo, named after him and a regular customer of this (and other) TOPs and records.
Although I fully agree with the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Top 22, I cannot say that I am surprised to see him a few holes below the top rated player (Messi), particularly given the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Manchester (and has kept an exhibitional level that we are used to.
I also believe that another Portuguese, who has stood out in the real world, perhaps deserved to be on the list. I am clearly referring to (now) CR7's colleague at United, Bruno Fernandes, who has also maintained in this season an exhibitional level at the English club that has inhabited us since last year.
Of course, these first cards refer only to the start of the game. The season is long and with the evolution of the sporting year, depending on the form of each player and their performance, it will be normal for new special cards to appear for each one.
October 1st will be the kick-off day for FIFA 22 that we've been following, here or here.
New Icons Revealed
Three new Icons were recently revealed that will be present on the virtual pitches of FIFA 22.
These are 3 players who have left their mark on the teams and clubs they have passed through (one of them passed through Portugal), each in their own position, and who receive the deserved tribute in FIFA 22.
Meanwhile, Electronic Arts has unveiled a new partnership. This time with modest British club Wrexham AFC.
The deal will make the club playable in FIFA Kick Off mode; located in the Rest of World category, as described by club co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The partnership will also include EA SPORTS supporting Wrexham AFC's work off-field in the local community through an initiative with Wrexham Glyndwr University, and the future provision of a community lounge at the Racecourse.
"It's great to partner with Wrexham AFC and support the club's commitments to the Wrexham community and its fans" said David Jackson, vice president of EA SPORTS. Jackson added: "We are excited to be launching innovative community projects in collaboration with the Club so that Wrexham fans can experience playing by their side at EA SPORTS FIFA 22 when the game launches later this month."
Humphrey Ker, Executive Director, said that "There are only a small number of brands within football that can be classified as iconic and each club wants to be associated. Everyone is truly excited about Wrexham joining FIFA 22. The co-chairmen wanted to make Wrexham a global force when they became its guardians, and now they are able, with our fans, to take on the rest of the world as part of of this trip."
